CLIFTONVILLE FC has been left “shaken and saddened” following the sudden death of Michael Newberry at the age of 27.
Newberry signed for the Northern Ireland football club last summer having previously come through the academy at Newcastle United.
Cliftonville confirmed his death on Monday in a heartbreaking tribute, with the club left “shaken” by the loss.
This evening’s scheduled fixture with Dungannon Swifts at Solitude has been postponed out of respect.
