ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Police said a man was fatally shot near a shopping center in DeKalb County on Saturday afternoon.
DeKalb County police said they responded to a person shot on the 1800 block of Candler Road, at the intersection with Glenwood Road, shortly before 1:30 p.m.
Officers reportedly found a man in his 20s with a gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital, where he died. He hasn’t been publicly identified yet.
Police said the shooter remained at the scene. They said the cause of the shooting is still being investigated.
