Federal authorities have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the fatal shooting of a 7-year-old boy on the Ute Mountain Ute reservation earlier this month.
Jeremiah High, a member of the Ute Mountain Ute tribe, was taken into custody near Monument Valley, Utah, the FBI announced Wednesday on X.
The bureau on Tuesday offered $10,000 for help finding Hight, who was charged with murder, assault with a dangerous weapon and discharging a firearm during a crime of violence in connection with the Dec. 11 shooting.
The boy who died was identified as Zamias Lang.
