(KRON) -- The Santa Rosa Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating an elderly woman who went missing Tuesday evening. Miriam Helm, 78, was last seen leaving The Vineyard at Fountaingrove Memory Care located at 200 Fountaingrove Parkway at around 5:30 p.m.
Helm was wearing a long-sleeve green sweater over a blue undershirt and blue jeans when she was last seen, police said.
In an overnight update posted at 2:20 a.m. Wednesday, authorities said a search and rescue team was actively searching for Helm.
Anyone with information on her location is asked to call the Santa Rosa Police Department at (707)-528-5222.
