“It hurt for sure like I was definitely heartbroken about it,” said Brown. “I felt like this was my best off-season, my best camp, and I felt good about where I was at. “Processed it, but my family, it did a good job, supporting me, the staff here, everyone here was showing up every day, and I was still a part of everything,” said Brown. “So that was great for me, and even the fans, like how everybody embraced me. I haven’t played a snap here, and everyone showed me a lot of love.”
Brown will be an essential member of the team as Kansas City seeks its third consecutive Super Bowl title.
