One of the biggest questions ahead of Team India, before the MCG Test is – as to where will skipper Rohit Sharma bat? In the second and the third Tests of the IND vs AUS series, he let KL Rahul open the innings, and himself batted in the middle-order. But with series locked at 1-1, and given Rohit’s poor form, the think tank might just tinker with his order.
Till now Rohit Sharma has been poor beyond imagination, as is desperate to score runs. In the three innings in the series, he has managed to return with scores of 3, 6, and 10. Asked the same in the PC on Tuesday, the skipper wasn’t keen on revealing the team strategy though. “Let’s not worry about that. Who bats where is something we need to figure out within ourselves. It is not something I should be discussing at every press conference. Whatever it takes for our team to look good, gives us the best chance to succeed, we will ty and do that,” Rohit said.
