Simon Jordan insists Oleksandr Usyk ‘isn’t Superman’ and can be beaten.
The Ukrainian defeated Tyson Fury for a second time on Saturday night to leave no doubt as to who the best fighter in the heavyweight division is.
Usyk has cleared out his contemporaries and doesn’t have much left to achieve in the sport.
Many expected him to retire on a high after beating Fury again but the two-weight undisputed king says he will box on.
According to Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh, the plan is now for Usyk to rematch Dubois provided the Brit beats Joseph Parker on February 22.
Dubois proved no match for Usyk last time out, although he did drop his adversary with a shot in the fifth round, which divided fans.
Some claimed the punch, which floored Usyk for several minutes, was legal and should have been counted while others insisted it had strayed low.
The referee determined it was an illegal blow and so Usyk was given four minutes to recover before rebounding to stop Dubois in the ninth round with a stiff jab.
After the defeat, Dubois was branded a ‘quitter’ for seeing out the count on one knee.
However, a trio of destructive stoppage wins over Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic and Anthony Joshua have gone a long way to re-write that narrative.
talkSPORT host Jordan has been impressed by the Dubois’ improvements and believes the current version of himself could topple Usyk from his throne.
“I think he’s the best of this particular generation because he’s proven to be such,” he said of Usyk on his White and Jordan show on Monday morning.

“I mean, we’re building him up to being this Superman. I do think he’s beatable.
“And I tell you what, as much as my tips are absolutely bloody useless; I wouldn’t be surprised given that Dubois is young and fresh and powerful [that he could beat him]
“Because I had a bet on both of those fighters. I put a bet on Fury at three to one, and I thought I’d go for the knockout.
“And I thought ‘I’m gonna hedge this and put it on Usyk’.
“As the fight starts I watched and thought ‘Why am I betting on a knockout?’

“So listen, Usyk is brilliant. He’s absolutely world-class. He’s an ambassador. He’s an athlete of the highest order.
“He lives the life that a fighter of his ilk lives, and Fury doesn’t, and Fury lives a different life, but both of them put on a performance.
“I didn’t think it was the most exciting of fights watching it. I thought it was a very technical fight.”
Dubois was elevated from interim to full IBF heavyweight champion after Usyk was forced to relinquish the belt in order to pursue a rematch with Fury.
The winner of their proposed clash will therefore be crowned the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
