Meanwhile, left tackle Braxton Jones was just carted off the field after suffering an apparent leg injury, which the team is calling an ankle injury in the announcement officially ruling out his return. It is just a brutal time to be watching the Bears right now. And seeing two offensive linemen leave with injuries doesn’t make it any easier.
As it stands, the Bears’ offensive line looks like this (from left to right): Larry Borom, Jake Curhan, Coleman Shelton, Matt Pryor, Darnell Wright. An already shaky line being down two starters and working with a swing tackle masquerading as a starting right guard makes things all the more unstable.
