Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra claimed that Ravichandran Ashwin‘s retirement was triggered by the spinner being overlooked in overseas conditions. The Tamil Nadu spinner took the world by surprise after announcing his retirement right after the IND vs AUS 3rd Test in Melbourne. He made peace with it. Jaddu was always ahead of him overseas. So, he made peace with it that Jadeja is playing,” said Chopra on his YouTube Channel.
