SHERIFF’S REPORTS
The following were compiled from reports prepared by the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office:
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Walker A. Ferreira, 28, of Fort Bragg, was booked at county jail Dec. 17 on suspicion of domestic battery, false imprisonment, dissuading a witness and making threats with intent to terrorize. He was arrested by the Fort Bragg Police Department.
VEHICLE THEFT: Andrea N. Santos, 31, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Dec. 17 on suspicion of vehicle theft. She was arrested by the Ukiah Police Department.
BURGLARY: Christopher S. Azimi, 36, of Point Arena, was booked at county jail Dec. 18 on suspicion of burglary. He was arrested by the MCSO.
THREATS: Skylar J. Doty, 27, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Dec. 18 on suspicion of making threats with intent to terrorize. He was arrested by the MCSO.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: Bryan C. Lockwood, 33, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Dec. 18 on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and violating his parole. He was arrested by the MCSO.
TRANSPORTING A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: Thomas H. Stricklin, 48, of Willits, was booked at county jail Dec. 18 on suspicion of transporting a controlled substance, possession of marijuana for sale, committing offenses while out on bail and failure to appear. He was arrested by the MCSO.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Jorge R. Ekgongora, 26, of San Pablo, was booked at county jail Dec. 19 on suspicion of domestic violence, false imprisonment and damaging a communications device. He was arrested by the MCSO.
THREATS: Valen A. Lopez, 24, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail Dec. 19 on suspicion of threatening to inflict great bodily harm or death. He was arrested by the MCSO.
DUI: Shawntee L. Wirth, 41, of Willits, was booked at county jail Dec. 19 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested by the UPD.
Those arrested by law enforcement officers are innocent until proven guilty. People reported as having been arrested may contact the Daily Journal once their case has been concluded so the results can be reported. Those who feel the information is in error should contact the appropriate agency. In the case of those arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of an intoxicant, all DUI cases reported by law enforcement agencies are reported by the newspaper. The Daily Journal makes no exceptions.

CLARIFICATION: An article in the Dec. 19, 2024, edition of the UDJ regarding a permit TCW Equipment (Nena and Michael Caviness) applied for in order to renovate and reuse an existing structure at 401 South State Street stated that Community Development Director Craig Schlatter was not able to perform a site visit prior to a Dec. 13 hearing, but did not include Schlatter stating that the reason for him not being able to perform a site visit was “a miscommunication on the city’s part.”
