CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Another suspect has been arrested in connection to shots fired into a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools bus in east Charlotte on Monday.
On Wednesday, detectives arrested 20-year-old Paris Lewis-Bynum and charged him with:
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said the incident occurred around 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, on East W.T. Harris Blvd near Idlewild Road North. When officers arrived, they discovered an Infiniti vehicle and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools bus had each been shot into. They say 30 students from Albemarle Road Middle School were on board.
Following the shooting, officers arrested 21-year-old Lamarius Ramel Anthony in connection to the shooting. He was placed in the Mecklenburg County Jail and charged with:
