The 70-year-old—who has been a mainstay on the program for nearly three decades—didn't appear alongside his jolly crew of costars, which included Craig Melvin, Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Jenna Bush Hager, Sheinelle Jones, Carson Daly, Willie Geist, Dylan Dreyer, Peter Alexander and Laura Jarrett.
In the snapshot, the group of ten gathered for the outing outside their usual work setting, instead, enjoying an afternoon at Smith & Mills Rockefeller Center in NYC for drinks and food.
