Evans police are investigating whether a medical incident was the reason a 73-year-old man crashed into an Evans liquor store Monday morning.

(Courtesy/Baljinder Singh, Owner)Around 10:30 a.m., the man — who was heading south on 23rd Avenue — swerved through northbound traffic, hitting 23rd Avenue Liquors, 3210 23rd Ave., near the drive-thru window, police say.
Police say the man was sent to a hospital with moderate injuries. No employees or customers of the liquor store were injured in the crash.
There were no substantial road closures stemming from the crash, according to police.
