This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by Hendrick Southpoint, is Jay Miller.
Miller is a non-profit leader around our community, serving on the board of the IFC and serving on committees of various other groups as well. But this year, his own non-profit, Shared Vision stepped in to pull the CommunityWorkx thrift shop out of foreclosure. The action of Shared Vision saved not only CommunityWorx, but several other child focussed organizations who work in the hub right next door.
Listen to this week’s Hometown Hero segment below, and check in next week for another recognition of someone who is making a difference in our community! Do you have someone who you’d like to nominate as a Hometown Hero? Click here to let us know about the good they’re doing around town!
