Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today recorded 197 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) and 128 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 141,808. Out of the 197 new cases, 147 are community cases and 50 from travellers returning from abroad. All new cases have been placed in isolation and are receiving necessary health care according to their health status. Till now 245 people have died due to the virus. The total number of positive COVID-19 cases recorded in Qatar is 144,437 and there are 2,315 active cases under treatment. 4,967 people were tested for the first time in the last 24 hours (8,251 tests in total) taking th
