Photo by Chris Stone City of San Marcos voters have passed Measure Q, a one-cent sales tax that will provide local funding for general government use including public safety and infrastructure improvements. Nearly 60% of the 38,100 ballots currently counted in the city favored the measure. The city will start to receive funding from Measure Q in April 2025.
