SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- The Embarcadero BART station in San Francisco is closed Wednesday morning due to police activity, according to the Bay Area Rapid Transit District. District officials announced the Embarcadero was closed at 6:19 a.m. for San Francisco Police Department assistance. There is a 20-minute delay in the SFO, Millbrae, Daly City and East Bay directions due to the police activity, BART announced at 6:14 a.m. The San Francisco Mass Transit Agency said the inbound and outbound F Market Muni in response to the police activity. “Use the subway along Market, F bus shuttle along The Embarcadero,” the agency said.
