A new investigation from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reveals that a failed engine complaint effects over 1.4 million Honda and Acura vehicles.   The investigation, which opened Friday, spans from the 2018 to 2020 Acura TLX, 2016 to 2020 Acura MDX and Honda Pilot, 2018/2019 Honda Odyssey and 2017 to 2019 Honda Ridgeline vehicles with the 3.5-liter V6 engine. A recall was issued to address the complete engine failure, which tied back to a faulty connection of rod bearings. These rods link the pistons to the crankshaft and convert vertical motion to move the wheels.  No injuries or fatalities have resulted from the issue so far.   Honda recalled nearly 250,0
