AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man was sentenced to serve 40 years in prison following a plea deal Oct. 21 related to a July 2023 crash that killed four people. According to Travis County court documents, 36-year-old Arthur Lee Wright pleaded guilty to a total of five charges. Records showed four of Wright’s charges had two counts each for intoxication manslaughter and manslaughter; however, the manslaughter count was waived. The fifth count was for a collision involving death charge, and the sentence was five years in prison.
