UPD: Ukiah man arrested for attempted murder after stabbing

A Ukiah man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder Tuesday after allegedly stabbing another man in the face and chest, the Ukiah Police Department reported. According to the UPD, officers responded to a home in the 200 block of Irvington Drive around 4:50 a.m. Oct. 29 when a “hysterical female … caller stated that her boyfriend had been stabbed by her brother, (who) was still inside of the residence.” When officers arrived, they reported finding the victim, identified as a 28-year-old Ukiah man, “standing in front of the residence holding the left portion of his face/eye, with blood covering him.” When deputies from the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office arrived to assist, “they escort
