NORTH CAROLINA (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Hurricane Helene hit North Carolina almost a month ago as the deadliest tropical storm in the state's history. Although there is still a lot of work to be done, especially in the hardest-hit areas of the mountains, there has been significant progress made compared to the days following Helene's arrival.
