Four cemeteries in the Mahoning Valley will receive part of $104,000 in grants from the Ohio Department of Commerce’s Division of Real Estate and Professional Licensing. The funds will be used for maintenance projects, including tree removal and remapping parts of the cemeteries. Approved for funds in Mahoning County are Eckis Cemetery in Milton Township and Jackson Township Cemetery. In Trumbull County, Hubbard Union Cemetery and Girard Liberty Union Cemetery will receive money. Eckis Cemetery, Jackson Township Cemetery and Girard Liberty Union Cemetery will receive $2,500. Hubbard Union Cemetery will receive $2,000. The grant is funded by $1 of every $2.50 from burial permit fees received
