Bhubaneswar: At least nine people including a pregnant woman have lost their lives due to food poisoning and outbreak of diarrhea in Odisha’s Kandhamal district, as per reports. The situation in Kanibaru and Sindhibali villages of Durgapanga panchayat under Kotgarh block of the district remains grim. Several people have been taken ill in the last four days following the waterborne disease outbreak. The persons have developed symptoms of diarrhea and food poisoning after attending a funeral feast four days back. A three-month pregnant woman of Kanibaru village succumbed to her illness last Monday night. Her husband had died of same symptoms two days before. So far, nine persons have succumbed
