Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar asserted the importance of cooperating with South Africa in the field of pharmaceutical manufacture and vaccines. Abdel Ghaffar said Egypt is enjoying giant capabilities in the domain of pharmaceutical industry and the country is considered as the largest producer of medications in Africa and the Middle East region. The minister’s remarks came at a meeting with Egyptian Ambassador to South Africa Ahmed Sherif in the ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) on Wednesday 18/9/2024.
