Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly met with Civil Aviation Minister Mohamed Manar Enaba for the ministry’s year-end review, which included a plan to offer the land around Cairo International Airport for private investors in 2021.  The two also discussed the development of the Sphinx airport, with Enaba stating that its terminal building is being expanded to reach a capacity of 900 passengers per hour, up from 300 passengers per hour. The expansion will be completed soon, he added. Enaba stated that Egypt has completed constructing the airports of Bernice, Cairo’s New Administrative Capital, and Bardawil, while the development Borg al-Arab and St. Catherine airports are still underway.
