Bhubaneswar: In the wake of outbreak of bird flu in some areas in Odisha, Public Health Director Bijay Mohapatra urged the people of the State to avoid eating chicken for a few days. The senior health official has issued an advisory, insisting the districts to take preventive measure to tackle the spread of bird flu. Mohapatra also said a district-wise team shall be formed for fever surveillance. As per the reports, Pipili is now a hotspot of bird flu in the state.
