(KRON) -- Crews are responding to a mult-acre grass fire Sunday evening in American Canyon, Cal Fire officials said on X. The fire broke out in the area of American Canyon Road and I-80 in the southeast part of Napa County. Two buildings are threatened, according to Cal Fire. As of 6:55 p.m., forward progress of the fire has been stopped, and crews were able to contain the fire at approximately five acres. American Canyon Road between I-80 and Flosden Road is currently closed in both directions, officials said. "Expect crews to remain at scene for several more hours securing control lines and mopping up," Cal Fire said. A helicopter was called to the scene to help exting
