GASTONIA, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The Gastonia Police Department is looking for a 41-year-old woman who was kidnapped from the intersection of W. Harvie Avenue and Clay Street. An Ashanti Alert was issued for Meranda Berlon Reed around 7 p.m. Reed is described as a black female with black hair and brown eyes. She is 5'4", roughly 300 lbs and was last seen wearing a navy shirt, black leggings and possibly flip-flops. Police named Jarvis Johnson, 36 as a possible suspect. Johnson is described as a black male with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5'11" and roughly 260 lbs. Police say he was a 5 o'clock shadow and is bald or balding. He was last seen wearing a t-shirt, red
