Jake Paul Vs. Mike Perry Results:Jake Paul rant after knockout win over Mike Perry

Jake Paul’s victory over Mike Perry in their recent boxing match has sparked a lot of debate and controversy within the combat sports community. The fight, which took place on Saturday night, ended with Paul knocking out Perry in the second round. This result has left many fans and critics questioning the legitimacy of Jake Paul as a professional boxer.

Following his win, Jake Paul went on a rant during his post-fight interview, claiming that he is the "real deal" and that he is here to stay in the world of boxing. Many have criticized Paul for his lack of experience and skill in the sport, arguing that his victory over Perry was more about luck than actual talent. However, others have praised Paul for his dedication and commitment to training, as well as his ability to generate hype and interest in his fights.

Paul, 27, now 10-1 as a boxer, was due to box Tyson, 58, this evening, but the heavyweight legend suffered an ulcer flare-up on a flight in May.

But an impressive display here, down at cruiserweight, saw Paul drop “Platinum” Perry three times in six energy-sapping rounds, confirming the rearranged bout with boxing legend Tyson in November on Netflix.

Paul also took the opportunity to call out UFC champion Alex Pereira after the fight, although the prospect of a future meeting remains unlikely given the Brazilian’s contractual situation and UFC boss Dana White’s previous reluctance to allow his fighters to perform outside of the promotion.

The finish came after a flurry in the sixth round. Perry got to his feet, and the referee was going to allow him to continue, but a stumble as he attempted to move to his right made the official's decision easy.

The so-called ‘Problem Child’ knocked down the extremely durable former UFC favourite turned Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship star three times en route to a thrilling sixth-round stoppage win in a bloody cruiserweight contest in Tampa, Florida on Saturday night.

It's highly unlikely Paul and McGregor ever wind up fighting in any way beyond words. McGregor is 5'8" and 155 pounds. Paul is 6'1", weighed in at 200 pounds for his fight against Perry and is planning to fight at heavyweight later this year against Mike Tyson.

Barring some unforeseen weight gain from McGregor and a heavy cut from Paul, odds are this rivalry will be fought with quippy quotes and social media posts.
