AUSTIN (KXAN) — Police said they're investigating the deaths of two people at an east Austin apartment complex as a homicide. A spokesperson for the Austin Police Department confirmed Wednesday afternoon this happened near the 4400 block of Airport Blvd., which is just east of Interstate 35. Officers said they responded at about 10:16 a.m. and found a man and a woman at the apartment complex with serious injuries caused by "blunt force trauma." Police said the two people were pronounced dead at about 10:47 a.m. They also said they believe this is an isolated incident and that there's no known threat to the public.
