Thom Tillis revisits the Port of Wilmington, see’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law in action

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Senator Thom Tillis was in Wilmington on Tuesday. He began his visit with a tour of the Port of Wilmington. Last year, Senator Tillis announced a nearly $11 million grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation for improvements to the Port. That funding came from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law which Sen. Tillis helped write and pass into law. On Tuesday, he was back in Wilmington at the Port, getting an update from officials about implementing the law on the ground level.
