Another weekend off for Formula 1, another grueling off-road cycling adventure for Valtteri Bottas. After the Monaco GP, Bottas jetted off to the US to take part in last Saturday’s Unbound Gravel 100, a 174 km ultra-endurance cycling challenge held on the gravel roads through the remote Flint Hills region of east-central Kansas. It was a long day in the saddle for the Sauber charger, but one the competitive Finn concluded on the podium following his remarkable second-place finish in the men’s 30-39 age group!
