Vasiliy Lomachenko, the Ukrainian boxing sensation, once again showcased his incredible skill and dominance in the ring as he faced off against George Kambosos Jr. in a highly anticipated bout. From the opening bell, it was clear that Lomachenko was on a different level, displaying his trademark footwork, speed, and precision punching.

Kambosos Jr. tried to keep up with the relentless pressure of Lomachenko, but he was simply outclassed in every aspect of the fight. The Ukrainian fighter landed crisp combinations and elusive head movement that left his opponent frustrated and unable to mount any significant offense.

Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KOs) competes for the first time since losing a controversial decision to Devin Haney in May 2023.

Kambosos (21-2, 10 KOs), the current IBO lightweight champion, looks to continue his winning ways after rebounding from back-to-back losses to Haney in 2022 with a majority decision over Maxi Hughes in July 2023.

After the fight, the 36-year-old Lomachenko, who improves to 18-3 as a professional, reflected on his first stoppage victory since 2021.

"It looks like a knockout, not 'No-mas-chenko' but we trained hard for this moment," Lomachenko said.

"I want to say a big thank you to my opponent, he is a strong man, he is a true warrior."

Kambosos, 30, suffered the first knockout defeat of his career and paid tribute to the three-division world champion.

"He's a true champion, he's a legend of the sport, I give him the utmost respect," Kambosos, who slips to 21-3, said.

"We knew what we were coming up against. I tried my best, I had the best preparation and I gave everything in training camp.

Lomachenko (18-3, 12 KOs) outlanded Kambosos (21-3, 10 KOs) a whopping 175 to 40 punches as the Australian wasn't a match for Loma. DAZN News had it a shutout for Lomachenko prior to his TKO victory which came 2:49 into the 11th-round.

As the rounds went on, it became increasingly evident that Lomachenko was in complete control of the fight. In the end, he secured a dominant victory over Kambosos Jr., further solidifying his status as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world.
