Predictions and full lineup WWE WrestleMania 40

WrestleMania is the grandest stage of them all in the world of professional wrestling, and fans eagerly anticipate each year's event to see their favorite superstars compete on the biggest platform. As we look ahead to WrestleMania 40, predictions are already swirling about what matches will be featured on the full lineup.

One of the most anticipated matches is rumored to be a showdown between two legends, John Cena and The Rock, in a battle for supremacy. Another highly anticipated match could see current WWE Champion Roman Reigns defend his title against a returning Brock Lesnar.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will wrestle in his first real match in 11 years on Saturday night and Roman Reigns will put his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship belt on the line against Cody Rhodes on Sunday night.

The Rock was the main event when WrestleMania was last in Philly, losing to Stone Cold Steve Austin for the WWE Championship in March 1999 at the then-First Union Center.

WWE announced its full card and schedule for 'Mania during this past week's Monday Night Raw. Of course, surprise appearances are unaccounted for.

Now Rhodes has another chance to vanquish Reigns—but there’s one more hurdle in the way. Rhodes and Reigns will square off in the main event of the second night of WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia on Sunday. But first, they’ll meet in a tag team match on Saturday. Rhodes will team with Rollins and Reigns will team with The Rock. If Rhodes’s team wins on Saturday, all members of Reigns’s Bloodline faction will be banned from ringside on Sunday. If Reigns’s team wins, Sunday’s match will be contested under “Bloodline rules” (meaning there are no rules).

WWE WrestleMania 40 is all set to get started tonight (Sat., April 6, 2024) from Lincoln Financial Field at 7:00 pm ET, live on Peacock in the United States and on the WWE Network elsewhere. You should also be able to watch this on pay-per-view (PPV) if your cable provider is carrying the event.

Recently, we saw Drew McIntyre talking to Paul Heyman in the background of a backstage vignette. This is where that pays off, with The Scottish Warrior attacking Rollins and further injuring his knee to set up a finish in which Reigns finally gets a win over The Visionary.

Rollins is protected and can argue that win, thanks to the McIntyre interference, and Reigns gets a win on a weekend that may not end with him standing tall to close out a show.
