In a thrilling Premier League match, Arsenal emerged victorious with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Brentford. The Gunners started the game on the front foot, dominating possession and creating numerous chances. Their persistence paid off when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang opened the scoring with a clinical finish in the first half
However, Brentford fought back valiantly and equalized through a well-taken goal from Ivan Toney. The Bees pushed Arsenal to their limits, but the Gunners' defense held firm under pressure.
From Anthony Joshua’s stunning knockout of Francis Ngannou, to Sri Lanka’s series win against Bangladesh and the Premier League wins for Manchester United and Arsenal, we had it all covered.
On Sunday it’s arguably the biggest game of the Premier League season as Liverpool and Manchester City got head-to-head. We’ll bring you all the action from Anfield.

It also lifted Mikel Arteta’s side above Liverpool and Manchester City into first place, one point ahead of Jurgen Klopp’s side. Liverpool hosts Man City at Anfield on Sunday and a draw in that game would keep Arsenal top on goal difference.
“Massive win for us,” Havertz said. “It wasn’t nice, especially after conceding so close to the (halftime) whistle. We spoke to each other and wanted to turn it around.”
Ben White found Bukayo Saka on the right flank, who returned it to the full-back. He had ample time to put a pinpoint delivery into the area where Rice had got in front of Mads Roerslev to glance a fine header past Mark Flekken and net his sixth goal of the campaign - the best return of his career.
Filled with confidence, our attack was purring and were soon carving out more chances. Havertz shot straight at Flekken after some neat footwork from Martin Odegaard, and with 10 minutes of the half remaining the German was sent one-on-on with the keeper and dinked the ball past him, but agonisingly wide of the far post.
Frank was especially frustrated that Havertz was the matchwinner after the German forward, on a yellow card, went down in the box in the 65th minute under minimal contact from Collins, which Frank said was a clear dive.
