LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The owner of a Lubbock sign company accused of taking thousands of dollars from customers is now in the Lubbock County Detention Center. The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office arrested 49-year-old Jared Castillo, owner of LED Liquidator, on February 7, 2024. In October 2023, Matt Wolfington, the pastor of St. Luke’s Church in Lubbock, filed a police report with the Lubbock Police Department. Wolfington said the church hired Castillo to construct an LED sign to put in front of their southwest Lubbock campus. The church signed a contract with LED Liquidator on April 25, 2023. Wolfington said on May 3, they paid Castillo a little more than $10,000 as a deposit on the sign
