The Board of Directors of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Anaheim-Cypress announced the recent retirement of CEO Anne Hertz-Mallari. Throughout her 17-year tenure as CEO, Mallari’s exceptional leadership resulted in the organization expanding from one location to its current 18 — encompassing 16 clubhouses and two teen centers. “During her time with the organization, Anne oversaw substantial growth and expansion,” said Chuck Emanuele, board chair. The expansion of clubhouses within Anaheim, Cypress, La Palma and Cypress has grown the program from serving 65 kids a day to serving more than 2,600 members.
