The Dodgers have agreed to a new contract with free agent lefty Clayton Kershaw, per Joel Sherman and Jon Heyman of the New York Post. He’ll take a physical this Thursday. Kershaw underwent shoulder surgery back in November and is expected to be sidelined into the second half of the season. Thursday is the first day the Dodgers can place a player directly onto the 60-day injured list, so it seems likely he’ll head straight to the 60-day IL and a corresponding 40-man move won’t be required.
