SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — A GoFundMe and a benefit concert has been set up for a Santa Barbara man who was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer. Sarah Sheppard has organized the GoFundMe for her stepfather, Lasse Bertelsen, who was diagnosed with cancer back in 2019. As of December 17th, 2023, Lasse has been moved from palliative care at home, to the Serenity House in Santa Barbara. A benefit concert is being set up for Lasse by the people from The Molly Ringwald Project tonight at 7:00 p.m. at the Los Chord Guitars venue in Solvang.
