Berhampur: Krushna Chandra Sahu, who played an instrumental role for popularizing Ganjam’s folk art Prahallada Natak globally, passed away on Wednesday. He was 86. Guru Krushna Sahu died due to age-related ailments. He was taken care of by his son in Bhubaneswar, as per reports. Sahu, who was originally belonged to the Nuagada village in Bellaguntha block, chose Liakhai in Chikiti block as his Karma and Sadhana Sthali. Arrangements have been made to bring the mortal remains of Guru Krushna Sahu to Liakhai village, where his last rites will be performed.
