Middle Eastern carriers have seen a “V-shaped recovery” in airfreight volumes in September, which have been affected because of Covid-19, IATA has said in a report.  The regional carriers reported a decline of 2.5% in year-on-year international cargo volumes in September, but that is a significant improvement from the 6.7% fall in August, IATA said. The region was one of the most severely affected by Covid-19. However, due to regional airlines aggressively adding capacity following the peak of the crisis, it has seen a sharp V-shaped recovery.
