This week on Live and Local, Aaron was joined by four of the many musicians who will come together Saturday, August 26, for the Be Loud ’23 Festival at Cats Cradle. Be Loud ’23 is an evening of live music to raise funds for the Be Loud! Sophie Foundation, which supports teen and young-adult cancer patients at UNC Hospitals. Founded by Niklaus and Lucy Steiner in honor of their late daughter Sophie, the foundation has raised millions of dollars in the last decade; the AYA Cancer Program they helped launch in 2015 is now a nationwide model.
