The Chelsea vs Liverpool player ratings were a lot of fun to dish out as two big six teams both went for it at Stamford Bridge.
A 1-1 Chelsea vs. Liverpool draw saw Luis Diaz score early after a strong start from Liverpool but Axel Disasi equalized and both teams had chances to win in the west London sunshine.
Below we give marks out of 10 for every player, as the two Premier League heavyweights put on a good show going forward but their limitations, especially in defensive midfield, were clear to see.
A recycled cross from a corner allowed debutant Axel Disasi to scoop the ball past Alisson for the equaliser and Ben Chilwell believed he had the Blues in front with a fine finish just minutes later only for his effor to also get ruled out for an offside.

In the end the teams couldn’t be separated and the match ended all square.
Chelsea's new manager Pochettino will have hoped to start his reign with a victory but there was plenty for him to be satisfied about as his new team recovered from a shaky start to deliver many encouraging signs.
There is work to do on making Chelsea more solid, hence the pursuit of Caicedo, but they showed character to overcome a sticky opening to make Alisson the busier goalkeeper in the second half and draw warm applause from their supporters at the final whistle.
New striker Jackson was powerful and industrious while left wing-back Chilwell was a threat going forward, not only bringing a save from the Brazil goalkeeper but also having a goal narrowly ruled out for offside following a video assistant referee intervention.Chelsea vs. Liverpool
