Sofia Vergara and her husband Joe Manganiello are reportedly divorcing after seven years of marriage.
The couple, who married in 2015, issued a statement through their representatives about their separation to Page Six on Monday. As they reflected on how much love they still have each other, they also asked for privacy amid the news of their separation.
“We have made the difficult decision to divorce,” the couple said in the statement. “As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”

Sofia and Joe first got engaged on Christmas Eve in 2014, to much fanfare, six months after they met at that year's White House Correspondents Dinner.
Vergara, 51, and Manganiello, 46, met at a White House Correspondents’ Dinner in 2014 and started dating shortly thereafter. He proposed later that year on Christmas Day. In November 2015, the couple married in a lavish, star-studded wedding in Palm Beach, Fla. Vergara celebrated her 51st birthday last week Italy, posting photos and videos of herself surrounded by friends and relatives. However, Manganiello was notably absent.
Sources close to the couple said they had drifted apart due to their 'different attitudes' - after first bonding over being opposites.
They said: 'Joe is a big kid, he loves playing Dungeons & Dragons, he loves wrestling, he is all about video games, superhero movies, comic books, going to concerts, huge NFL fan. He chases fun.
The split announcement which was first revealed by Page Six comes just days after Manganiello's birthday tribute to Vergara came under major scrutiny from fans who labeled it as 'cold' leading to many fans to wonder about their relationship status.
The hunk took to his Instagram last Monday to share a low-resolution photo of him and his wife cuddled up for her 51st birthday as she celebrated her big day in Italy.
