To the Editor: I am writing to express my newly found appreciation and gratitude for the Ukiah Valley Senior Center. I only wish so much that I had joined decades ago! As a member of our senior community I have witnessed the positive impact this center has had on the lives of countless individuals. My own involvement since this March has opened my eyes, heart and joy to the variety of services and activities which are truly exceptional. What I love most about our center is that it creates an environment where friendships are forged, and a sense of belonging is fostered.
