Geneva, SANA- Health Minister, Dr. Hassan Al-Ghabbash discussed Friday with WHO Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean Dr Ahmed Al-Mandhari means to boost health cooperation and ensure optimal offering of health services to citizens. The meeting was held on sidelines of the 76th World Health Assembly in Geneva , with the two sides discussing the developments and priorities related to health care. Al- Ghabbash thanked the WHO for the continued support to the health sector in Syria , especially during the period of the spread of the Corona virus and the earthquake. The World Health Assembly unanimously elected Syria in May 2021 during its 74th session as a member of the WHO Executive
