New York, SANA- Iran renewed its demand to lift the illegal sanctions imposed by the United States against it. IRNA reported that Iran’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, sent a letter to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and President of the General Assembly Csaba Kőrösi, in which he reviewed the negative effects of the unilateral US embargo on the environment and on the safety, health and lives of Iranian citizens.
