Yerevan, SANA- Syria and Armenia discussed means of boosting parliamentary cooperation. This came during a meeting between Armenia’s Deputy Speaker at National Assembly, Hakob Arshakyan, and Syria’s Ambassador to Armenia, Dr.  Nora Arisian Dr. Arisian thanked Armenia for its political stances in supporting Syria and for efforts it exerted through sending humanitarian aid to the earthquake-affected She noted to the disastrous effects of the US and the EU unilateral economic sanctions imposed on the Syrian people which need international efforts in order to call for lifting them.
