During their regularly scheduled March 9 board meeting, Ukiah Unified School District trustees announced that they have authorized negotiations with the Rural Communities Housing Development Corporation (RCHDC) for the potential purchase of the former Redwood Valley Elementary School property. The RCHDC was the only eligible entity that responded to the district’s Notice of Offer to Sell Surplus Property during the window that opened on Dec. 18, 2022, and closed on Feb. 16, 2023. The negotiation period is 90 days.
