December 14, 2022 (KHARTOUM) – The humanitarian community in Sudan has launched the 2023 Sudan Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) to reach out to the most immediate and critical needs of over 10 million of the most vulnerable people in Sudan seeking generous contributions from donors at US$1.7 billion. “The 2023 Humanitarian Response Plan we launched today is the result of months-long consultations and efforts to find the best possible way to meet the food, water and sanitation, health, protection, education and other needs of the 12.5 million most vulnerable people in Sudan,” the United Nations Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Sudan Mrs Khardiata Lo Ndiaye said.
